The Fact That TMS Of Cerebral Cortex Is Associated
With Inhibitory As Well As Excitatory Properties Is
Important Because It Makes It Possible To Investigate
Interconnections Between Cortical Areas And Tracing
These Functional Interconnections By A Noninvasive
Excitation Or Inhibition And Temporary Interference
With The Flow Of Impulses In The Cerebral Cortex. An
Important Tool Is Thereby Added To The Analysis Of
Higher Cortical Functions.
